the calico she-cat padded down the smooth slope, her delicate paws gripping the stone expertly. she knew every crack and crevice of this mountain, every dimple left behind be her ancestors pawsteps. she was a pretty creature, her pelt splattered with patches of raven, white and ginger, and a svelte frame that was slightly more lithe than most flameclan cats. maybe it was her father's blood, the blood of a clanless cat, that created her thinner, more agile looking figure of the leader. she did know she had his eyes, orbs of sparkling blue that changed with her mood. today they danced to a rhythm of bright baby blue, searching the open land ahead of her.
she parted her jaws, taking in the cool, crisp mountain air. she loved the weather that came with the season of leaf fall. it was cool , refreshing. her ears swiveled around on her narrow, angled head, listening for the slightest movement. ah ha! there it was. she heard the little creature scurry past her, quick and light on its tiny feet. the she-cat's body dropped to the ground intinctively, pressing her white belly-fur to the cool stone. her breaths slowed, almost indaudible, unnoticable. her ribs rose and fell, barelt visible under her multi colored pelt. willowstar's eyes zeroed in on the silver torso, and her muscles gatheredbeneath her. she inhaled once more, holding the oxygen in her lungs, and as she breathed out, she launched herself forward, catching and killing the rodent in one swift, elegant movement.
willowstar moved easily and with much grace. she wond her way to the valley, slipping past the sparse trees that dotted the mountain side. the ground level and the series of lakes and pools stretchd infront of her. for some reason, she found immense ammounts of calm here. it was her quiet place, her place to find some inner peace.. yeah right. how was one to find inner peace while leading a clan? that was a good joke, she had apprentices to train, warriors to keep in line and elders to keep happy. they were without a medicine cat, and there numbers were low. things with iceclan were on pretty good ground though, so that was one less thing to weigh her down. willowstar loved to live in the moment, and there she was.
ooc; its verryyy verrryy shory >< but i have nothing to write bout yet ^^ heheh
