Mountain Peaks

To hunt their primary prey, FlameClan cats have to scale the mountains to get closest to where they normally dwell. Though most prey commonly found in other territories are scarce in FlameClan territory, they are able to hunt prey unique to their territory such as hawks, eagles, and falcons. The birds are often big enough to feed many cats at once, so even though prey is less common on the mountaintops, the clan can eat well year-round. The feathers that come from these prey can also be used for bedding, since moss is rather hard to find. Also, on the slopes themselves live the occasional rabbit or mouse that skilled warriors and apprentices can hunt.
